Waters tubing and fittings are carefully designed to provide leak-free connections, with low dead volume, and minimal band spreading. For best performance, these components must be clean, and designed to work together. The geometry of the ferrule and the conical port that it is used with must match, as well as the diameter of the tube and the fittings. A variety of materials, lengths and diameters are available to provide the flexibility you need when you set up and maintain your system. Part number WAT033392 has been replaced by this new part number WAT022998.

PEEK Tubing, Solid Layer Color Coded PEEK Tubing (Orange) - 1/16" OD x .020" ID x 100FT, 5000 PSI, 345 BAR. PEEK tubing has the strength required to withstand continuous use at HPLC pressure without swelling or bursting, and is not affected by halide salts, high strength buffers, or other aggressive mobile phases that corrode stainless steel. The polymer surface will not leach metal ions into the eluent or extract metal-sensitive components from the sample. Note however that dichloromethane, THF, and DMSO may cause swelling in PEEK, and concentrated nitric and sulphuric acid will attack PEEK.
